Flyers left around mailboxes create wind-blown litter in the community. Be a good neighbour, bring home all your unwanted flyers and recycle them in your blue box at home. To stop receiving paper flyers all together, simply place a note inside your mailbox or submit a request to Canada Post. It’s easy and it’s your choice. Watch our video on Facebook or YouTube.

-York Region News-
York Region is committed to ensuring our residents have access to safe, affordable, responsive and high-quality child care services. With many families joining a waitlist or looking for a space to open up, licensed home child care may be a great alternative to help meet the demand.

Licensed home child care is safe, affordable and follows the same Ministry of Education licensing standards as other child care services. Operators can care for infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children, as well as their siblings, and may offer full-day, extended and before / after school care.

If your family is on a waitlist, or starting your search for child care services, visit york.ca/HomeChildCare to learn more about licensed home child care in York Region.

Did you know the perfect CPR compression rate is 100–120 beats per minute? That’s the same tempo as songs like Stayin’ Alive or Crazy in Love! This World Restart a Heart Day, we're turning up the rhythm on CPR awareness.

Practicing to music helps you lock in the rhythm — and could help save a life.

Visit york.ca/CPR for more information.
