From the mailbox to your blue box! Flyers left around mailboxes create wind-blown litter in the community. Be a good neighbour, bring home all your unwanted flyers and recycle them in your blue box at home. To stop receiving paper flyers all together, simply place a note inside your mailbox or submit a request to Canada Post. It’s easy and it’s your choice.

Did you know lithium-ion batteries have the highest potential for catching on fire? If not recycled properly, they can cause fires in waste trucks, garages, even your kitchen junk drawer.

How to safely recycle your lithium-ion batteries:

- Seal all terminals with tape.

- Keep dry and away from heat.

- Don’t store, drop off for recycling.
