I was glad to meet with the newly appointed York Regional Police (YRP) #5 District Superintendent Chirag Bhatt and Inspector Brad Weick to discuss several important community safety issues and address residents’ concerns, we discussed the following topics: Neighbourhood Watch program, Bail system concerns, Crime prevention strategies, High-tech scams awareness and the surveillance cameras at key intersections.
