The Breaking Bread - Senior Community Cultural Cooking Program brought together friends and neighbours to learn how to cook different cultural dishes and share their cultural background and personal life stories while enjoying a meal together. The program also invited community partners to share information about programs and services available to seniors within York Region.
 
The program celebrated our diverse communities and helped build a sense of social inclusion among seniors living in community housing.
