Improvements to the intersection of Enterprise Blvd & Rouge Valley Dr W are complete. Pedestrian safety improvements include an upgraded crosswalk & pedestrian signals, push buttons & tactile ramps.

Intersection improvements info: http://york.ca/TrafficSignals

The new westbound protected left turn signal has been installed and will be activated in the coming weeks at Highway 7 and Kennedy Road.

The new signal gives motorists the right of way when making left turns and protects pedestrians when crossing the street from left turning vehicles. These measures will help improve safety and traffic flow at this intersection.

For general inquiries, please contact Public Works at 1-877-464-9675 ext. 75000 or via email at transportation@york.ca.

Extension of the temporary turn restrictions at the intersection of Yonge Street and John Street until Saturday, November 30, 2024.

An extension is required due to onsite challenges with completing hydro work for the Yonge North Subway Extension (YNSE) project.

Southbound and westbound left turn restrictions will continue daily Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. These restrictions are required to accommodate lane closures for hydro work led by the Region’s contractor.

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather or to accommodate other work underway in the area. York Region will provide advance notice whenever possible.

For general inquiries, please contact Public Works at 1-877-464-9675 ext. 75000 or via email at transportation@york.ca.
