On November 9, the community will unite to honour the soldiers who fought for our freedom.

 

The Markham District Veteran Association (MDVA) parade will commence at the MDVA Hall at 7 Washington St and conclude at the Markham Cenotaph at Hwy 7 and Markham Rd.

 

 

In addition to the Markham ceremony, there will also be a Remembrance Day event in Unionville at the cenotaph in front of Crosby Arena and another ceremony at the Stouffville Legion. Both events take place on November 11.
